Stephen spent the early part of his working career with major insurance companies and a high street bank. In 1987 he joined an insurance broking firm to establish their financial services arm.  He developed strong client relationships which have been maintained through management buy out and merger.

Since 2003 he has become increasingly involved in providing comprehensive financial planning for clients and taking a holistic approach to financial advice. During this time he obtained CERTFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER certification.

Stephen believes that fee based financial planning offers the best approach for clients in the long term and that Evolve is ideally placed to provide this service due to the firm’s ethos and professional approach and joined Evolve at the start of 2010.

In his spare time Stephen enjoys keeping fit by competing in triathlons; recently completing an Ironman event.
