Employers

Many employers provide pensions, insurance and other benefits for employees, often arranged through a benefits consultant or financial adviser. However, the problem with this approach is that employees often receive little or no advice about how to make best use of these benefits and thus don’t value them as highly as they should. This in turn means that the employer doesn't always get value for money in terms of staff loyalty and goodwill.

Some advisers also earn substantial commissions from arranging benefits and this has the effect of reducing the value of the benefits to the employee. More often than not these commissions are payable up front which therefore disincentivises advisers from providing ongoing advice other than in respect of switching benefits from one provider to another in order earn a new commission.

Our approach is to work on a fee basis, rebating any commission to employers and/or employees whilst ensuring that employees understand the real value of their employee benefits package through regular communications and financial education briefings. Senior employees with more complex financial arrangements can also be provided with our face-to-face Comprehensive Financial Planning service.
